On Wednesday, April 12, 2023, the Leader of the Opposition, Honourable Dr Godwin Friday, welcomed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to the OECS, His Excellency Francis Etienne, to his office for a courtesy call.
Also present at the meeting was the parliamentary representative for South Leeward, Honourable Nigel ‘Nature’ Stephenson.
During their meeting, the parties discussed various matters and potential areas of cooperation between their countries.
The Ambassador was in the state to present Letters of Credence to the Governor General, Her Excellency Dame Susan Dougan.
